ARTIST STATEMENT
Photography is different because there is no picture that I can take and be placed in some rank; it doesn't work like that. I learn something new with every picture I take. Every time I press the shutter button, whether the photo comes out absolutely terrible or sort of descent, I have something to improve. Photography is a constant process. My pictures aren't the same as they were a year ago, or even 72 hours ago.
It's hard to say who I am as a photographer right now. However, I have noticed a little change in myself. I've started to put more thought into my photos. I have always looked at light, composition, and all of the basics, but that's not what I mean. I've been looking for something else. A solid, pleasing photo is great, but if there is a hidden element or meaning, the photo is completely changed. That being said, my photos are pleasing but I've been trying to add a mysterious vibe.
